10 great tools for education: Day 3

Welcome to day three of the 10 great education resources. Today's focus will be on keeping students and parents involved with your class. Both the resources I am sharing today revolve around smart phones.

Up first is an excellent resource called Remind 101 which was originally shared with me by one of my colleagues. With Remind 101, you can text message parents and students safely and easily without either party getting the others cell phone number. It's easy to use, easy for parents to sign up, and it is free.

The second resource is called my Homework app, which, as the name suggests, is an app that is available on iPhone, iPad, the Android market, Windows 8, or the web. This app allows students to create schedules, set up reminders, and track homework and tests. The app is free for a single device but their is a fee for across platform usage.

Tomorrow's resources will be more content specific, I hope you're back to check it out.
