Pinterest Battle of the Decades - the 1960's

The tumultuous 1960's. The decade of my birth. The decade of John F. Kennedy, the Beatles, the moon landing, Woodstock and Martin Luther King's "I have a dream" speech. It is also the decade of the Vietnam War and the assassinations of  John F. Kennedy, Martin Luther King, and Robert Kennedy. Were the sixties the best decade? While I was born in the 60's, I was too young to remember anything. The 50's and the 60's are often spoken in such reverence by people who were alive at the time. The 60's were unique in that the beginning of the decade was so unlike the end in terms of music, fashion, and culture. America changed a great deal over those ten years.
